Trying my best to follow what's happening back home. Apparently almost all parts of Luzon are submerged in some way? Despite the place being in a state of calamity, there doesn't seem to be anything on news outside the Philippines save for Reuters..
Considering that the Philippines is a tropical country constantly receiving amounts of rain every year, the government should've been more prepared. Storm drains should be regularly cleaned instead of simply accumulating trash, etc etc. I probably sound like one of those people who just blame the government for everything, but that is part of their job but they choose to spend the money on god knows what instead. But then people can be to blame as well, just dumping here and there..... Hay, ewan.
Frustrating, really. Makes you wish you could bulldoze the city and then rebuild it and equip it with everything that it needs. It's so inefficient.
Mag-ingat na lang. :(
